4.2. Virtual reality files

4.2.1. History

Now that Debrief includes its own 3-D viewer, the export to 3-D functionality has been removed. Should you have any significant desire for this functionality to be replaced, please contact the administrator.

4.2.2. VRML

Debrief images can also be exported in the Virtual Reality Markup Language (VRML) into files with the .WRL suffix. Provided a suitable viewer is installed on the viewing PC (such as the free CosmoPlayer or Superscape Viewer applications), users can view Debrief plots in 3D outside the Debrief application.

The WRL file is created in the Debrief installation directory by pressing the "Write VR" button:
